Last Sunday’s HCC – VOC match has been discontinued. The reason for this was a remark, perceived as racist, by one of the VOC players to a HCC player. As a result, the players of HCC decided to step off the field.
The KNCB condemns any form of racism and discrimination. Cricket is a sport known for bringing together and uniting people of different cultures. An incident like this is not appropriate.
The KNCB Match Referee immediately started an investigation and we will share the resulting decisions with you.
