Bio

Haroon Ahmed is a cricket player agent currently self-employed as the Head of Sports, Hazharoon. He is focused on finding and developing the next generation of Pakistani cricketers as a cricket analyst and talent scout.

Ahmed managed some of Pakistan’s most high profile cricketers including Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik and Wahab Riaz while working as a Sports Manager at Flaminko Inc. from April 2019 to Nov 2020, where he served as an ECB and PCA Licensed and registered cricket agent. He also managed the social media handles of the above mentioned players while also working on their contract negotiations.

Ahmed was previously an accredited ICC sports journalist, where he covered the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy and the 2019 ICC ODI World Cup, all this while being a sports writer at the Express Tribune from December 2016 to January 2020.

Ahmed has also worked for ARY Digital Network and FTA Sport as a Freelance writer.

Ahmed has a Bachelor’s degree with upper second class honors from Birmingham City University. He is an ECB Licensed Agent, receiving certification in June 2019, and is also an ECB Foundation 1 Cricket Coach, certified in January 2020.
