Cricket Scotland and Karnataka Milk Federation are pleased to announce Nandini as the official sponsor of the Scotland men’s team at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

The Nandini logo will be present on the leading arm of the new Scotland men’s playing shirts at the tournament, which takes place in West Indies and USA and begins on 2 June.

Claire Drummond, Cricket Scotland Commercial Manager, said:

“We’re delighted to partner with Nandini ahead of what will be an exciting T20 World Cup campaign for our squad and supporters.

“It’s fantastic to have an established brand backing our men’s team as they head onto the global stage and compete against the best in the world, and we’re confident that this partnership demonstrates the global appeal of our national team and of Cricket Scotland.

“We look forward to working together with Nandini to further promote their brand as well as Scottish cricket. When our team lines up to play England, Namibia, Oman, and Australia at the World Cup, the Scotland colours will sit proudly alongside the Nandini logo.”

M K. Jagadish, Managing Director of Karnataka Milk Federation, the parent company of Nandini, said:

“We are very excited to partner with the Scotland men’s cricket team for their T20 World Cup campaign. Nandini as a brand stands for excellence and purity, and over the last forty years we have grown into a global brand.

“Our partnership with Cricket Scotland at this World Cup will help Nandini reach a global audience of cricket lovers and is a first step in taking our brand to more countries around the world. As the second largest dairy brand in India, we are constantly looking to grow and strengthen our commitment to supplying nutritious and quality dairy products to India and the world.

“It is a matter of great pride for us to see Nandini on a world cup jersey and we wish the Scotland men’s team all the best for their T20 World Cup campaign”.

The announcement comes on the same day that the striking new Scotland men’s T20 World Cup shirt has been launched in Edinburgh by members of the playing squad, and which is available to buy now.

The one-off design has been created specifically for this tournament and inspired by the men’s squad in partnership with Gray-Nicolls, the official kit supplier to Cricket Scotland. It will be worn in competition for the first time when Scotland meet England in Barbados on Tuesday 4 June.

Luke Gray, Head of Sales for Gray-Nicolls, said:

“We’re excited to bring another bold and unique design to the T20 World Cup for Cricket Scotland. The new pink kit is sure to stand out on the pitch as Scotland’s men’s players look to make a huge impact on the tournament, and we look forward to its colourful design being worn by supporters and splashed throughout the stands across the Caribbean in June!”

Scotland begin their Group B campaign against England on 4 June in Barbados, before facing Namibia at the same venue two days later. They then head to Antigua to play Oman on 9 June, before a mouth-watering final group fixture with Australia in St Lucia on 15 June.
