The Seattle Orcas announced Hemant Dua as its new Chief Executive Officer to join the Seattle Orcas ahead of Major League Cricket’s second season in July. Dua joins the team bringing vast experience in the sports and entertainment industries.
“I’m thrilled to join the Seattle Orcas as its Chief Executive Officer,” said Dua, who brings more than 25 years of experience and expertise to the club. “I’d like to thank ownership for the opportunity and I’m excited to get started working with our partners, players, fans and everybody connected to the club and cricket community in the Pacific Northwest.”
Dua was most recently the Managing Director and CEO of Inspiranti Sports a boutique sports consulting company and an active angel investor. Prior to that he was CEO of GMR Sports Pvt. Ltd, holding company for multiple professional sports franchises (Delhi Daredevils, UP Yoddhas, Dilli Veer) and Octagon (a global leader in sports management), where he served as the Director Asia.

In his new role, Dua is responsible for implementing all aspects of the club’s strategic vision, while driving revenue and commercial opportunities that spearhead the club’s continued growth, innovation efforts, on-field success and growth of the sport.
