Following a Board meeting held on July 10th, USA Cricket has announced that directors Mr. Kuljit Singh Nijjar and Mr. Arjun Gona are alleged to have breached the Member conduct policy of the USA Cricket Board.

In response, the USA Cricket Board has referred both individuals to the USA Cricket ethics committee for a thorough examination of these allegations. During this period, Mr. Nijjar and Mr. Gona have been temporarily suspended and relieved of their responsibilities to the USA Cricket Board.

“Today the USA Cricket executive board made a difficult but important decision to hold members accountable to the US and international cricket community, said Venu Pisike, Chairman of the Board. “We are committed to the highest integrity and ethical conduct on behalf of our member organizations and partners, which is essential to grow the game of cricket in the United States.”

The Board emphasizes that this matter is confidential and further details will not be disclosed until the completion of the ethics committee’s review.
