The Melbourne Renegades are delighted to welcome Mitre 10 as the club’s Major Partner and Official Hardware Provider.
The partnership will see Mitre 10 branding integrated into the club’s BBL signage, apparel and communications platforms.
“Mitre 10 is an established brand well known to Australians and we’re delighted to be working with them this season,” Melbourne Renegades General Manager David Lever said.
“In a challenging economic environment, we’re proud to have secured a full suite of partners for the WBBL|06 and BBL|10 seasons.
“This commitment from our corporate partners is a great reflection of the strength of the Big Bash and its place in the hearts and minds of Australians over summer.
“We’re looking forward to our BBL season getting underway on Saturday and providing our members and partners with plenty to cheer about.”
Since 1959, Mitre 10 has been the go-to for Australia’s builders, providing generational expertise and quality products, and their knowledge of hardware has in turn provided home improvement solutions to millions of homeowners.
There are more than 300 stores across the country, largely family-owned and run businesses that have direct links to their local community.
“We see our partnership with the Renegades as such a great fit for the Mitre 10 brand. The Renegades are such a family-focused club, and that resonates with the role our stores play in their local communities. Real family-run businesses that build meaningful relationships with their customers, be they tradies, weekend warriors or avid-gardeners” says General Manager Marketing Karen Fahey.
“We like to think of our stores as Proudly Local, Supporting Locals – and that is really what being part of a team entails”.
The Renegades begin their BBL|10 campaign against Perth Scorchers in Hobart on Saturday.
