RICKET SOUTH AFRICA (CSA) appoints start-up sensation Phizz as an official supplier to CSA, its teams, players and staff.
“Phizz has been the preferred hydration tablet by CSA’s medical team for training, travel and match days for two years. It’s exciting to formalise this relationship as the young brand launches in pharmacies across South Africa,” commented CSA Chief Commercial Officer Kugandrie Govender.
Three years since launch, the self-funded challenger has sold over 30 million tablets worldwide. Phizz supplies Premier League Football Clubs, airlines, gyms and 5 star hotels around the world with a hybrid multivitamin/electrolyte tablet. The dual formulation gives Phizz a wide range of applications across sport, travel and general wellbeing.
“It’s a pinch yourself moment for the Phizz family” says Head of Sport, Yasmin Badiani. “To launch in South Africa as an official supplier to the national cricket team is a big moment. This deal is a testament to our sport department and is a proud badge of credibility as we enter a new market!”
Phizz is now available across South Africa in Clicks and independent pharmacies, distributed by Skymed Pty Ltd.
