PCB condoles death of former First-Class Umpires

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), formerly the Board of Control for Cricket in Pakistan, is the governing body for cricket in Pakistan. It oversees and organizes all tours and matches for the Pakistan national cricket team. A member of the International Cricket Council since 1952, the PCB represents Pakistan's men's and women's teams in international cricket tournaments.

The PCB has condoled the passing of former first-class umpires Akmal Hayat and Tassaduq Jamal.

Akmal Hayat died in Faisalabad at the age of 55 years. He supervised in a total of 25 first-class matches, and his last assignment was the final of National U19 Three-Day tournament. He remained in the PCB Faculty Panel for training of local umpires and was part of the teaching panel for training of local umpires of Multan and Faisalabad regions.

Tassaduq Jamal, aged 66, had retired in September 2015. He supervised in six first-class matches.
