The 2021 Indoor Cricket National Championships have been rescheduled to later this year to give the competitions the best possible chance of going ahead without disruption.

The Championships will now be held from September 18 to October 2, 2021, with the Open Divisions from September 18 to September 25, and the Junior Divisions from September 25 to October 2.

The Indoor Cricket National Championships remain vitally important to Australian cricket, and the decision to reschedule them was taken with the interest of players, staff and officials in mind.

Uncertainty over State border restrictions and quarantine periods due to COVID-19 has been a driving factor in the decision making process.

Cricket Australia remains committed to supporting participants, coaches and managers in ensuring they are prepared to participate in the Championships.

With this in mind, and with many teams having already been selected for the 2021 Indoor Cricket National Championships, October 2 will remain as the cut-off date for the associated age divisions.

Cricket Australia will continue to work with the State and Territory associations to keep any impact on otherwise scheduled outdoor competitions to a minimum.
