We have a hugely exciting opportunity for an Event Co-ordinator to join The Events team. The Event Co-ordinator will support managers jointly plan and deliver men’s and women’s international cricket, The Hundred and domestic cricket across England and Wales.
The key aim being delivering world class cricket for both the men’s and women’s game.
The ECB is a fun and energising place to work and The Events department is lively and full of talent.

YOU’LL BE DOING
- Supporting all areas of the Events Department including travel, accommodation, logistics, commercial rights delivery, and operations.
- Supporting the team onsite at selected matches across the International and Domestic calendar in both men’s and women’s cricket.
- Working alongside the Event Services team, supporting the overall Transport and Logistics Strategy for teams supporting both the Hundred and International match delivery teams.
- Managing the distribution of kit across multiple venues
- Coordinating plans with commercial partners for match day requirements (hospitality/tickets)
- Offering financial support for the wider team including budget management, raising POs and submitting invoices
- Managing and maintaining strong relationships with key ECB stakeholders
- Co-ordinating the overall logistics plan for the season across multiple Venues
- Working closely with the other internal ECB departments including commercial, ticketing and finance
- Leading by example, motivating and supporting members of the Events Team throughout a busy season
YOU’LL HAVE
- An understanding of working in sporting events and experience of managing logistics with a knowledge of cricket a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills, with a strong attention to detail in the preparation of documents and reports; advanced Microsoft office skills are a necessity.
- A proven ability to work with efficiency, flexibility, and good humour; understanding the ever-changing events environment which will include unsociable hours.
- A team player approach – resourceful and possessing the ability to demonstrate initiative, still seeking advice or support when required.
- Excellent people skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships.
- Clear and effective decision-making skills, developing practical solutions within a budget conscious environment.
- Project management skills with the ability to support multiple projects and prioritise for continual improvement.
- A proven ability to work with efficiency, flexibility, and good humour within a team
- A clean and valid Driving Licence
