Purpose of the role:
Based at the National High Performance Centre in Lahore, you will support the mental skills preparation of all the national playing squads and national coaches. Your individual and collective work will complement and add significant value in the quest to improve and develop world class players and teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage player sports psychology related performance
• Address any performance/personal/wellbeing related issues and employ best practice intervention protocols
• Maintain regular contact and monitoring of players, and communicate relevant information to the CMO, colleagues and coaches, subject to ethical guidelines/ limitations
• Collaborate with High Performance support staff to achieve specific performance and/or wellbeing objectives
• Consult with the player and the relevant medical staff, and provide a “Return to Play” psychological support/intervention plan, for players with an injury that impacts on training = status
• Advise and collaborate with High Performance staff regarding key psychological goals and focus areas
• Assist with developing education programs, resources, and associated protocols to develop performance related mental
skills
• Document all formal consultations and performance related information in a timely manner
• Provide leadership and advice to all relevant stakeholders
• Monitor contemporary trends to develop new solutions to performance issues
• Should be able to develop a meaningful and trustful relationship with all stake holders
• Should be computer literate and possess excellent report writing skills.
• Fluency in Urdu and English is a must other regional languages (Punjabi, Pashto etc) would have added advantage.

Eligibility Criteria
• Master’s Degree in Sport Psychology from an accredited University
• Current full practicing Psychologist with HCPC, AHPRA or equivalent
• An ongoing record of relevant Continuing Professional Development over the past 12 months (minimum of 30 hours, as stipulated by the APS)
• Four (4) or more years demonstrated experience practicing in Sport Psychology with elite athletes and coaches
• Experience working with National sporting programs / professional athletes
