Community Participation Manager

Here’s the deal…

We’re looking for a driven Community Participation Manager to join our Community Cricket team. You don’t need to be a Cricket wizz to be successful in this role, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about using their influencing and entrepreneurial skills to connect communities by creating engaging opportunities for physical activity!

Reporting to the Head of Participation & Programs you’ll be responsible for inspiring and leading a team that supports the development and growth of Cricket across Australia. Including Woolworths Cricket Blast as well as new programs.

About The Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting the participation programs team by inspiring and leading by example. You’ll continually find opportunities to develop your team
  • Managing existing products in line with our strategic ambitions and driving continuous improvement
  • Taking the lead on new product development by implementing and building growth plans, marketing communications and scaling operations
  • Strategic direction, you’ll work closely with key stakeholders to grow program strategies and operational plans
  • Being a data champion, you’ll use and implement reporting mechanisms to make and drive key decisions

About You

You will be known for your experience in product management and development, ideally with new products or channels in complex environments.

You’ll Have

  • A Bachelors degree in a relevant field
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role or environment
  • Proven experience motivating and leading teams. You’ll have a way of bringing people together to drive collaboration
  • Strong commercial acumen with a flair for entrepreneurialism and understanding of marketing
  • Brilliant communication skills – written and verbal
  • The ability to influence others and build strong relationships internally and externally
  • High attention to detail and outstanding time management skills
