Adelaide Strikers trio Tahlia McGrath, Bridget Patterson and Darcie Brown will represent a Cricket Australia XI to confront England as a precursor to the CommBank T20I Tri-Series Final at Junction Oval on Wednesday.

Allrounder McGrath claimed 14 wickets in rebel WBBL|05 and was Adelaide’s second-highest runscorer for the season, behind only Sophie Devine, with 327 runs from 16 matches.

Patterson, one of the most improved players in the competition, scored 319 runs and struck two half-centuries in arguably her most consistent WBBL campaign to-date.

Teenage pace bowler Brown is yet to make her WBBL debut but is considered one of the most promising young players in the Australian domestic scene.

Three Australian squad members will also be included in the CA XI side prior to play.

The match will begin at 9:30am local time on Wednesday at Junction Oval ahead of the T20I Tri-Series Final between Australia and India from 1:10pm.
