Karachi Kings’ pacer Chris Jordan has loved the amazing and enthusiastic crowd in Pakistan after playing two matches at jam-packed National Stadium.
Jordan, while talking exclusively to ARY Sports at NSK on Wednesday, said that the pumping crowd boosts their confidence on the field and it feels astonishing to play in such an atmosphere.
“Crowd has been fantastic so far and I really enjoy playing when the crowd is fully involved in the game. Their presence in huge numbers absolutely motivates us to pay back them by winning,” the right-arm pacer said.
Talking about their last game against Quetta Gladiators, Jordan said that they tried their best to make it in their favor but not every time a team can win. “I think probably we were a few runs short against Gladiators but still we managed to give them a tough time. We were too close to winning the match but unfortunately, it wasn’t our day,” he said.
“Its a long tournament and I would say ups and downs will be there with us. Let’s give our best on every day and enjoy every bit of the moment here,” he added.
Furthermore, Jordan gave a message to Kings’ family to come and support their team to inherit more confidence in players. “We love how you come and support us and to be honest it motivates us. If you will keep on backing us and stick by us we will definitely come with more power to win matches,” he concluded.
It must be noted here that Kings have played two matches so far in the event against Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators. Their next match is against Multan Sultans on February 28 in Multan.
