The Central Gauteng Lions (CGL) are delighted to announce their latest team member, Fidelity Services Group.

The 24-hour security powerhouse was initially partnered with to ensure that valued staff, players, tenants and fans are kept safe within the magnificent Imperial Wanderers Stadium precinct, but it wasn’t long before both parties realised that a partnership such as this one, doesn’t come along every innings. And so another deal was concluded with the Fidelity Services Group. This agreement extends their partnership portfolio to include both the Imperial Lions Men’s and Women’s teams, as well as the development pipeline feeding both these professional teams.

CEO of the Central Gauteng Lions Jono Leaf-Wright says, “When it comes to the safety and security of our Pride, we absolutely have to have the backing of the best – which is exactly why we have extended our partnership with Fidelity. It is a huge weight off a CEO’s shoulders when he knows that his fellow teammates are protected 24/7 within our iconic Imperial Wanderers Stadium.”

Wahl Bartmann, CEO of Fidelity Services Group, Southern Africa’s largest integrated security solutions provider and the industry leader in protection innovation says, “We are delighted to be part of the Central Gauteng Lions family.  We are passionate about cricket and value the trust they have placed in our team to keep their valued players safe.”

Leaf-Wright concludes that the Fidelity family share the same values as CGL, which will no doubt stand both parties in good stead as they take to the seasons ahead. “Such partners understand that it’s about serving the communities in which we operate – because our people will always be our number one priority,” he concludes.
