In response to the decision of the Appeals Committee (CvB), the board of the KNCB had decided to have the HCC – VOC top class match replayed on Sunday 22 August. However, this did not go through.

At the moment, the HCC – VOC match is the only match that still has to be played in the top class. Given the current standings, regardless of the outcome of this match, one of the two teams will qualify for the semi-finals.

After extensive consultation, however, both associations have indicated that they do not want to play the semi-finals. As a result, the relevance for establishing a new date for replaying the match HCC – VOC has expired and a new date will not be searched for.

The KNCB competition leader has determined that the position as it has been since August 15, 2021 will therefore be the final position.

As a result, the program of the Semi-Finals 1 and 2 looks like this:

Sunday, August 29: Semi-Final 1: Punjab CCR – VCC, Semi-Final 2: VRA bye
Saturday, September 4: Semi-Final 3: Loser Semi-Final 1 – VRA
Sunday: September 5: Final: Winner Semi-Final 1 – Winner Semi-Final 3

The KNCB wishes all teams good luck and is looking forward to a sporty, exciting and beautiful end to this cricket season.
