Here’s the deal…

We’re looking for a driven National Diversity & Inclusion Participation Lead to join our Community Cricket team. You don’t need to be a Cricket wizz to be successful in this role, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about using their influencing and entrepreneurial skills to connect communities by creating engaging opportunities for physical activity for everyone!

Reporting to the Senior Manager Participation you’ll be responsible for creating greater connection in the Australian community leveraging cricket as the vehicle and growing the diversity of cricket’s participation. Critically, you’ll be a leader of change at scale rather than a hands-on operational lead.

Working with one of Australia’s biggest sports, you’ll have the network and backing to lead community change and impact on a substantive scale.

About The Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving real, impactful change in Australian communities via growing cricket’s participation in targeted under-represented community segments (particularly Multicultural, First Nations people and people with a disability).
  • Drive the implementation and ongoing refinement of the Australian Cricket Inclusion & Diversity Participation Strategy.
  • Develop and enhance cricket’s partnerships with key community stakeholders.
  • Leading the broader Australian Cricket network to drive activity and outcomes in targeted areas.

You’ll Have

About you

  • High agency: demonstrated capability to achieve exceptional results despite barriers
  • Successful experience leading change and creating outcomes at scale in complex environments – activating over doing.
  • Experience managing key relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills especially to those of diverse backgrounds.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role or environment
