Ireland’s Barry McCarthy and Munster Reds’ Aaron Cawley have been added to the Ireland Wolves squad ahead of Monday’s game against Zimbabwe XI at Belmont in Belfast.
The Ireland Wolves’ provisional squad was named last month for the fixture, with selectors leaving the flexibility to bring in two additional players closer to the match to provide more game time ahead of the One-Day International series which begins on Wednesday.
The final squad is:
William Porterfield (Captain), Aaron Cawley, Murray Commins, Stephen Doheny, Matt Ford, Mike Frost, Graham Hume, Graham Kennedy, Jeremy Lawlor, Josh Manley, Barry McCarthy, Neil Rock, Lorcan Tucker.
The match is to be played at Belmont (home of CIYMS Cricket Club) starting at 10.30am on Monday 6 September 2021.
Spectators are permitted at the game, however they should follow any COVID-19 directions or social distancing guidelines in place on the day.
Cricket Ireland will make the broadcast of the match available for fans around the world on www.youtube.com/CricketIrelandLive.
