The Brisbane Heat will fly high as they prepare to ‘Just Do It’ with the club ready to showcase its boldest look on the eve of the 11th year of the KFC Big Bash League and the sixth season of the Weber Women’s Big Bash League.
Today’s reveal of the bold new vision from apparel partner Nike was heralded by the announcement that the BBL and WBBL has joined forces with global music superstar, Tones And I, to launch the League’s second decade.
The Nike playing and training strip will be the latest distinctive ‘look’ for the Heat.
Queensland Cricket Commercial & Marketing Manager Pete Lock welcomed the Heat’s association with Nike as part of the League-wide apparel partnership.
“It’s a huge transformation for the WBBL and BBL as we head into a bright new phase for the game,’’ he said.
“Nike are renowned for being one of the biggest and best sports apparel brands in the world, with a reputation of being the best story-tellers in international sport’’
“The Heat aspire to be leaders in whatever we do and believe the partnership with Nike and the association with Tones and I will fit beautifully with our ethos of bringing families together and providing world class experiences at our matches and through our digital reach,” Lock said.

The Australian singer-songwriter Tones and I shot to global superstardom with her song ‘Dance Monkey’, which topped music charts in 30 countries, earned her four ARIA Awards, and has been followed by a slew of multi-platinum ARIA hit singles. Her debut album, Welcome To The Madhouse, debuted at number one on the ARIA Album Chart following its July release, with current single ‘Cloudy Day’ already amassing more than 40 million global streams.
Tones And I has begun her partnership with the Big Bash by unveiling Nike’s new world-class on-field apparel range to be worn by all eight clubs this summer.
The new Nike range is characterised by its striking icons and bold colour, emphasising the unique attributes of each club while maintaining links to the Leagues as a whole. The range is further enriched via textural elements from Nike’s latest Global Design Direction.
Today’s announcement marks the first time Nike has released an apparel range for an entire League in Australia.
