The South Australian Cricket Association has completed its internal investigation into allegations that several Redbacks players were asked to leave a city venue following concerns about their behaviour and adherence to COVID-19 dancing regulations.
SACA has not received a complaint from any party and the investigation into the matter has not found evidence for most of the allegations.
However, in relation to Covid-19 dancing regulations it has made the decision to refer that matter to Cricket Australia under the Cricket Australia COVID-19 Management Framework, which makes all breaches reportable.
SACA has separately taken the step of speaking to the entire playing group to reinforce its expectation that players conduct themselves at all times in an appropriate manner and are mindful of the environment they are in.
