Cricket Hong Kong are pleased to announce the launch of our new Hong Kong Player Sponsorship Program!

The programme is focused on aligning individual or corporate sponsors to an individual player from the Cricket Hong Kong National Men’s and/or Women’s Squads. Sponsors can also act as a mentor to their player to support their overall development for the duration of their sponsorship and beyond.

Mark Farmer, Cricket Hong Kong General Manager – Cricket (International and High Performance) had this to say, “This programme is an initiative inspired by sports organisations around the world. It is great way to create a close connection between sponsors, Cricket Hong Kong and our international cricketers. The programme supports our Hong Kong representative players both financially and in their holistic development through mentoring. Our aspiration is to eventually align sponsors to all our men’s and women’s players.”

Cricket Hong Kong’s Player Sponsorship program has a standardized sponsorship level. Any available Hong Kong Men’s or Women’s player can be sponsored for a standard $3000hkd per calendar month for a 12-month period. The entire sponsorship fee is transferred directly to the player via Cricket Hong Kong. Sponsors also have the opportunity to build their connection to the players and support their overall development through mentoring as well as accessing Cricket Hong Kong initiatives and events.

Cricket Hong Kong Chairman, Tony Melloy had this to say, “This is a fantastic initiative developed in conjunction with the CHK Advisory Board that we hope will continue to grow. It’s a great way to support our athletes while creating a closer connection to supporters of Cricket Hong Kong.”
