Titans Cricket are proud to receive the announcement that Tuks Cricket Manager Blanche Conradie has been elected as the USSA Chairperson.

Conradie, who has been on the USSA Executive for several years, has now been elected as Chairperson of that body, having served as vice-chair from 2019-2021.

“I’ve become very passionate about working at university sport level. Our students are the next generation of cricketers in the country,” Conradie explained.

She works with a lot of familiar Titans Cricket faces in these spaces. One of her other roles was that of Team Manager for three years, while she still continues her work at Tuks itself.

“The environment at TuksCricket is great to work in. I’m always learning so much from my colleagues; their support and guidance continuously helps me grow. We strive for excellence in everything we do – both on and off the field.”
Her efforts are valued right through the Titans pipeline.

“Blanche is dedicated, meticulous and deeply invested in the future of these developing cricketers and humans. The time she puts into this is evident to anyone around her, and we are thrilled to see her passion recognised with this role,” Titans Cricket Services Manager Charlotte Serwadi said.

Conradie added that her commitment to this level of cricketer is deep rooted, and the work done by others before her must be maintained.

“Our member institutions have become vital in the cricketing pipeline, and it was very encouraging to see so many former and current students from all over the country playing in all the provincial teams in the CSA TKO,” she reflected.

“We need to make sure that we continue creating opportunities for our students in all provinces, so that they can have the platforms to further their careers.”
