Lions Cricket warmly welcome Stationery Xpress to their line-up. The partnership extends right through from the professional teams to the Lions Cricket offices, coaches, scorers and umpire associations.

“Whether it be their branded shirts for our umpires and scorers; their superb stationery or warm and immediate service, Stationery Xpress is a great signing for us,” says Lions Cricket CEO Jono Leaf-Wright. “We look forward to writing a brilliant future with them by our side and to walk the Lions journey together with them a part of the Pride of Jozi.”

“Stationery Xpress and Lion’s Cricket have so much in common. We both provide quality tools necessary for success, from preschool to professorship, in our respective fields. What’s Play-Doh to us is grassroot, school-ground cricket to Lions Cricket, but don’t get us wrong, we’re both equipped to soar and roar into the big league! That’s what makes this partnership exceptional”, said owner, Ashraf Asvat. “The fact that learners will be able to associate their favourite cricket team to the place they buy their crayons and flip files is just the cherry on top! As a dad first and then a businessman, Stationery Xpress is truly honoured to take on this partnership”, he added.

In a strained sporting market, onboarding new partners is much valued says Leaf-Wright;

“The Lions Family have worked tirelessly to create a powerful brand that gives meaningful returns to our partners. It’s imperative that the brands that back us are well rewarded and that the #PrideOfJozi goes above and beyond on field and off in order to truly show our appreciation and the power of sport.”
