Following the appointment of a Director, EDI this year, we are seeking a proven project manager who can help us deliver tangible change.

This is an exciting opportunity for a project manager with a passion for diversity and inclusion to operate on a national stage. We have real ambition with a desire to set the benchmark and we want someone who can match our aspirations. We are looking for an individual who would relish the opportunity to deliver our EDI Action Plan that will bring about transformational change, not only in our organisation but also game-wide. Comfortable operating with stakeholders at all levels across different departments, you will be confident in challenging the status quo, while helping lead the transformation of our sport through change programmes that impact every aspect of what we do operationally and commercially.

YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Programme managing delivery of EDI action plan, including risk and issue management
  • Helping drive cultural change programmes around EDI across the organisation and our stakeholders
  • Encouraging ownership of EDI in departments across the ECB and in the wider network, empowering people to design and deliver their own contributions
  • Improving data quality and collection across the ECB and the wider game to allow detailed tracking of EDI metrics to demonstrate progress against our commitments
  • Supporting EDI initiatives for the ECB, you will act as a trusted advisor to EDI Director, Executive Management Team, County Cricket and external stakeholders.
  • Leading EDI research in partnership with the Head of Insights.
  • Designing EDI frameworks to support the network in developing and delivering their own EDI plans under a joined-up national framework
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders across ECB, the network, and our partners (Sport England, PCA etc).
  • Identifying, developing and managing strategic partnerships with organisations and partners who can help us achieve our EDI ambitions

YOU’LL HAVE

  • Proven experience delivering relevant enterprise-wide change in complex stakeholder environments
  • Substantial experience in project management and delivery aligned with a strategy
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to challenge existing procedures and drive best practice
  • Experience building strong external networks
  • Experience in implementing EDI and creating positive change
  • Proven ability to create and partner with stakeholder groups to drive diversity and inclusion and provide an improved experience.
