The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is the governing body for cricket in Bangladesh. It joined the ICC in 1977 and became a full member in 2000. The BCB oversees Bangladesh's men's, women's, and under-19 national teams.

The Mujib 100 events organised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to commemorate the Birth Centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman have been postponed as a precautionary measure in light of the Coronavirus Disease situation worldwide.

The events include the ‘Cricket Celebrates Mujib 100’ concert on 18 March 2020 by the legendary A. R. Rahman and the two Asian All Star XI vs Rest of the World XI Twenty20 International matches at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur on 21 and 22 March 2020.

BCB CEO Nizam Uddin Chowdhury said: “The decision to postpone the events was based on the general cautionary advice for the public from the Government and international health agencies. We regret the inconveniences but at the same time hope that everyone concerned will understand our position as this is a major health issue across the globe and we cannot leave anything to chance.”
