Bio
Ashley de Silva was appointed by Sri Lanka Cricket Secretary Nishantha Ranatunga as acting CEO in March 2013 before being given the role on a permanent basis six months later.
A former Sri Lankan wicket-keeper batsman, de Silva made 3 appearances in Test cricket while playing 4 ODIs. He became a referee after his playing career, taking charge of one List A match as an umpire.
