Toyota Australia and Cricket Australia have today announced a four-year extension of their partnership that will include all areas of the game across Australia.

For more than a decade, Toyota Australia has been an enormous benefactor to community cricket and has significantly boosted club fundraising through the Toyota Good for Cricket Raffle.

Toyota Australia’s support extends to all divisions of cricket, from community clubs all the way through to the elite level as part of their commitment to cricketers and fans across the country.

The partnership will continue to include the Australian Men’s team, and the KFC Big Bash League and will now also extend to the Australian Women’s team, the Weber Women’s Big Bash League as well as Cricket Australia’s inclusion and diversity programs.

Toyota Australia has also renewed its support of local and regional cricket through ongoing initiatives such as the Toyota Good for Cricket Program, including the annual raffle, and the Toyota Australian Country Cricket Championships.

This will allow Toyota to fulfill its objective of being part of the cricketers’ journeys at all levels of the game, and in all parts of Australia from community to elite competitions.

Vin Naidoo, Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer, said:

“Toyota has been a long-standing supporter of grassroots cricket across Australia, and we’re delighted to extend our partnership to all divisions of cricket for the 2022-23 season and beyond.

“Since 2012, Toyota has supported community cricket with the Good for Cricket program, helping hundreds of clubs across Australia raise over $5 million that they can put towards new kits, cricket ground upgrades or buying new gear.

“This season, the Toyota Good for Cricket Raffle has enabled grassroots clubs to raise $849,970 by selling over 169,000 tickets, helping them make cricket more accessible for all.

“Toyota is extremely proud to extend this partnership and support players, volunteers, and fans across the entire cricket community.”

Nick Hockley, Cricket Australia Chief Executive Officer, said:

“We are delighted to be continuing our long-running partnership with Toyota Australia and are particularly grateful for the fundraising support they have provided local clubs and volunteers over many years through the Good for Cricket raffle.

“Toyota Australia’s commitment to be a part of the journey of all cricketers, from the community level through to elite teams and competitions, aligns perfectly with our commitment of ensuring cricket is a sport for all.”
