The Hobart Hurricanes are delighted to welcome the PURA Milk brand into the Hurricanes’ family as a new Community Partner.
The Australian-owned and locally-produced brand will partner with the Hurricanes on a six-month term, through to July 2022, to enable the Hurricanes to continue to deliver their Breakfast Club program across the state.
PURA Milk will provide products for 10 Hurricanes Breakfast Clubs, aiming to ensure that as many Tasmanian school children as possible can get the ultimate start to their school day with a healthy and nutritious breakfast.
Both the Hurricanes and PURA Milk boast a strong focus on the need to help grow community programs, and believe that small moments can create a lasting positive impact with a positive ripple effect throughout the community.
“Our shared values to make a difference in the community will be our focus throughout the partnership,” Hobart Hurricanes General Manager, Scott Barnes, said.
“The opportunity and ability for the Hurricanes and PURA Milk to create lasting memories throughout Tasmanian communities is truly something special, and hence, we’re thrilled to form a partnership with such an iconic brand.”
Bega Dairy and Drinks Marketing Director, Sharon Winton, echoed the Hurricanes’ enthusiasm.
“We are delighted to be partnering with the Hurricanes to deliver Breakfast across the state,” Winton said.
“Our partnership is a natural alignment of both organisations’ shared values based on positive nutrition, teamwork, and most importantly, our community.
“In the coming months you’ll see our ‘This Is Our Milk’ campaign come to life, which showcases the impact of PURA has had within the wider community – from supporting sporting teams to working with our café customers to get back on their feet after a tough few years of trade, this campaign highlights the impact we provide when people choose PURA Milk.”
