A Head of Cricket Performance is sought to build on the strong participation and performance levels that already exist within the game at Bradfield College.

You will work closely with the Master i/c Cricket and the Director of Sport to create an ambitious short and long-term development plan that ensures pupils at the College have the best possible opportunity to progress within the sport. Bradfield has an excellent sporting reputation whereby all pupils are valued and as such, cricket must promote an ethos of inclusive participation, as well as provision for the most committed to succeed at the highest level.

You will be responsible for the overall performance of pupils/teams at every age group and level that represent the College. Working closely with the Master i/c Cricket to ensure that the cricket programme is organised appropriately, you will lead the delivery of cricket coaching at the College, ensuring an environment is maintained whereby high standards are expected of the pupils. You will also work with other College staff to help develop their knowledge and capacity to deliver excellent cricket sessions.

The role would suit a teacher of any academic subject, who would teach a reduced timetable around their cricket responsibilities, whilst also being attached to a boarding house as a tutor. It would also be appropriate for non-teachers, for whom responsibilities to cricket would serve as the primary focus. The final working arrangements will be structured in a way that plays to the strengths and skills of the successful candidate. School accommodation may be available, if required.
