CSA: South Africa ‘A’ tour to Zimbabwe – Itinerary and Team Update

Cricket South Africa (CSA) governs cricket in South Africa. Formed in 2002, it succeeded the United Cricket Board of South Africa (UCB) and became the sole governing body in 2008. CSA oversees all levels of cricket, including national teams for men and women, and is a full ICC member and SASCOC affiliate.

Cricket South Africa (CSA) would like to confirm the following updates:

The itinerary for the T20 series between Zimbabwe XI and the South Africa ‘A’ team has seen a change in some of the fixture dates. The matches will now take place on 02, 04, 07, 08 and 10 May.

In team updates: Lutho Sipamla has returned home to South Africa due to an aggravation of his left hamstring injury, which he was recovering well from after incurring it during the Proteas’ Betway Test series against Bangladesh earlier this month.

Glenton Stuurman has been called up to replace him.

Ryan Rickelton was released from isolation this morning and medically cleared to play from the second One-Day match against Zimbabwe XI after he tested positive for COVID-19 upon the team’s arrival in Zimbabwe last week.

Prenelan Subrayen tested positive for COVID-19 prior to the team’s departure from South Africa and was replaced in the One-Day squad by Wihan Lubbe.
