USA Cricket is pleased to announce the formal accreditation of the Moosa Stadium in Pearland, Houston, Texas has been completed, as the ICC has granted the ground One Day International status.

Moosa Stadium joins the Broward County Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida as it will become the second ground with ODI status in the United States. The ground will play host to all twelve One Day Internationals in ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 that begins on Saturday May 28th. It’s the first time that 4 international cricketing nations will come to the USA at the same time for the back to back series, with crucial points in the qualification structure for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 up for grabs.

The founder and owner of the Moosa Stadium, Sakhi Muhammad said, “It is a hugely proud day to receive the formal confirmation of ODI status which is a real boost to cricket in Texas. We have been working hard for many years now to develop the facility here at Moosa to become a real hub for American cricket. I’d like to thank everyone who has been involved in helping to progress things here at Moosa, and we are working incredibly hard alongside the USA Cricket team to make the historic first matches a great success.”

Moosa Stadium will become the 213th ground to host a One Day International today as it joins the illustrious list of ODI grounds from all over the cricketing world.
