We’re looking for a driven Broadcast Manager to join our Broadcast & Commercial team. The Broadcast Manager is the senior point of contact for CA’s media rights partners to manage all operational and planning matters in relation to the international, BBL and domestic cricket seasons.

Reporting to the Head of Broadcast & Production you’ll be responsible leading the team that provides all necessary support to CA’s TV and radio broadcast partners to produce world-class coverage of Australian Cricket.

About the role

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead a team that is responsible for the delivery, servicing and performance of CA’s contractual rights holder agreements including TV & Radio for International, Big Bash League and Domestic Cricket
  • Be the Senior point of contact for our Media Rights partners to manage all operation and planning matters
  • Educate & Influence broadcast partners & key stakeholders to deliver a world class broadcast that engages fans
  • At Match responsibilities including but not limited to; management of all broadcaster requests, conducting commentary briefings and working with the CA events team to support the delivery of the match
  • Responsible for delivery of in-program integration and messaging to grow cricket’s SOV and manage the way the CA brand is represented on all broadcast platforms

    You’ll have:
  • Ability to take a strategic analysis of existing operational model to ensure we are setup for success into the future.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and understand contractual agreements and documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and stakeholders in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel and to work weekends and holidays including throughout the Christmas and summer holiday period.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Experience of television operations (ideally in sports industry)
