The Melbourne Renegades will have players hitting the road to visit regional Victoria next week.
Players will visit various schools and community groups from Monday to Wednesday, across the Renegades heartland of western, north-west and central Victoria.
The 2022 Renegades Regional Roadshow returns in-person, after last year’s event was conducted virtually due to pandemic lockdown.
A host of the club’s Victorian-based players will be out and about, inspiring the next generation.
More than 40 school and community visits are planned over the three days.
“It’s great to finally be able to get back out in the community, after a challenging couple of years for everyone,” Melbourne Renegades General Manager, James Rosengarten, said.
“Our players are excited to be heading to regional Victoria and be able to connect with school kids in our Renegades heartland.
“The Renegades Regional Roadshow is an important part of what we do as a club and our connection to the community.
“We want to inspire the next generation of girls and boys to pick up a bat and ball – and having our WBBL and BBL players out and about is the perfect way to do that.”
Among the host locations are Ballarat and Geelong, who will host two WBBL and BBL matches respectively this summer.

Melbourne Renegades memberships for BBL|12 and WBBL|08 will go on sale from August 5, including a two-game option that provides great value for regional members.
Tickets will be available via pre-sale on August 16 and on sale to the public from August 18.
