At the end of March 2022 Richelieu announced a three-year sponsorship of Namibia’s national cricket
team. Since then, the team are known as the Richelieu Eagles living up to creating rewarding moments
during their at home and away games against Uganda, Zimbabwe, Ireland, Hong Kong, USA, Jersey
and having just returned from Scotland.

We have been working behind the scenes creating a truly iconic logo for the Richelieu Eagles. A logo
which will not only define each individual player but one which undeniably units them.

Representing Namibia on an international sports stage remains the most rewarding moment and one
that creates those special memories we all enjoy.

This week Richelieu and Cricket Namibia are pleased to announce the unveiling of the new RICHELIEU
EAGLES logo which will be worn with the same pride they bring Namibia every time a player steps out
onto the pitch.

The logo was designed encapsulating what the national cricket team represents:
• Eagles – Namibia’s pride
• Richelieu – a bold and respected brand always creating rich rewarding moments
• The movement of a cricket ball seam – creating purpose and a foundation
• Blue – the official colours of Cricket Namibia
• Orange – the Rich colour of Richelieu
The Richelieu Eagles now have a logo, a symbol of unit and one which they will wear with pride
