Just days after inspirational WBBL skipper Ellyse Perry re-signed with the club, the Sydney Sixers have opened ticket sales for the upcoming summer.

Perry’s re-signing comes after the prized off-season scalp of Perth Scorchers’ BBL|11 title winner Kurtis Patterson and confirmation that foundation Sixers star Stephen O’Keefe will be back in magenta for a 12th season – and chasing a fourth BBL title.

Sixers matches are set to become the coolest part of the hottest summer with the Big Bash vibe dialled up to ten at the SCG, North Sydney Oval and Coffs Harbour.

Perry’s WBBL team, with new coach Charlotte Edwards at the helm, will play three home fixtures to end the regular season at their iconic home, North Sydney Oval.

The matches on November 16 (Brisbane Heat), November 18 (Sydney Thunder) and November 20 (Hobart Hurricanes) will precede the WBBL finals.

The Sixers BBL team open their home account this summer with a triple treat of matches at SCG, starting with the Hobart Hurricanes on December 22, before hosting matches on Boxing Day (Melbourne Stars) and December 28 (Melbourne Renegades).

There are two further matches at the SCG – against the reigning title holders from Perth on January 15 and in the blockbuster Sydney Smash against the Thunder on January 21.

The BBL|09 and BBL|10 champions will play an historic match at beautiful North Sydney Oval against Brisbane Heat on January 4, following on from the first day of the iconic Pink Test across the Harbour Bridge at the SCG.

The Sixers will also return to Coffs Harbour – its home on the state’s north coast – where they’ll play the Adelaide Strikers on January 17.

Excitement around the BBL is rising for this summer with the inaugural Overseas Player Draft set to take place in Melbourne – and also be available on Foxtel and Kayo Sports – on Sunday August 28.
