In line with other major venues across Australia, Marsh Sheffield Shield and Marsh One-Day Cup fixtures at Adelaide Oval will be ticketed to the public this summer.

SACA Members will retain access as a benefit of membership, in addition to guest passes for every day of the Shield and One-Day Cup as in previous years. All West End Redbacks and SA Scorpions fixtures at Karen Rolton Oval will remain free to attend.

Tickets for each day of play will be $10 for adults and free for children under the age of 18.

SACA CEO Charlie Hodgson is looking forward to a strong summer of cricket in South Australia:

“Sheffield Shield and the One-Day Cup are elite competitions with a rich history of quality cricket highlighted by international stars such as Travis Head and Alex Carey and the unearthing of the next generation of Australian cricketers.

“Playing at one of the most beautiful venues in the world, our Redbacks are a youthful, exciting team with a bright future. Jason Gillespie and his coaching staff have quickly and confidently put their mark on the squad, and we expect continued improvement and plenty of memorable moments this summer.

“$10 for adults and free for children under 18 represents incredible value to watch some of the finest cricketers from around Australia ply their trade. SACA members will of course continue to receive access as part of their membership.”

The West End Redbacks first play at Adelaide Oval in a Sheffield Shield clash against Tasmania from 16 – 19 October, quickly followed by a One-Day Cup fixture on 21 October.

Reigning Shield champions Western Australia will also make the journey to South Australia this summer for both formats, as will Queensland, the 2020/21 title holders.
