Queensland Cricket, previously the Queensland Cricket Association, is the governing body for cricket in Queensland, Australia. Established in 1876, it oversees the Queensland Bulls, Queensland Fire, Allan Border Field, and Queensland Premier Cricket. Queensland Cricket has joined forces with Sportradar Integrity Services to strengthen integrity protections.

Queensland Cricket has formed a new integrity partnership with Sportradar Integrity Services, a global supplier of sports integrity solutions

.As part of this agreement, Sportradar will supply a number of services to support the integrity program of Queensland Cricket.

Sportradar are providing anti-match-fixing education to players, coaches and staff before and during the ongoing KFC T20 Max tournament, ensuring all participants will have the knowledge of how to recognise and react to any potential integrity risks.

Sportradar will also be on hand to assess and monitor any betting patterns on matches from KFC T20 Max using its Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS), to help detect any potential integrity issues, and provide further protection to the tournament.

Queensland Cricket, Head of Premier Cricket, Integrity & Projects, Nick Stuart said: “As part of developing our integrity program, we brought Sportradar on board to support with preventative measures ahead of the KFC T20 Max tournament using their educational services.

“During the competition itself, they will be providing us with insights on the global betting market across the tournament. It is vital that we ensure that the integrity of our event remains uncompromised, and Sportradar’s support will help strengthen this effort”.

Sportradar Integrity Services Director Global Partnerships Andy Cunningham said: ““Sports bodies have to recognise the potential risks facing their competitions, and Queensland Cricket have outlined their proactiveness and commitment to integrity through this partnership.

“We are honoured to help educate their players and coaching staff on integrity risks during the tournament, and will be on hand to monitor any betting during the tournament with our expert technology and analysts”.

The second round of the KFC T20 Max competition gets underway tonight at Ian Healy Oval with Valley taking on Redlands.

The Final will be held on Sunday 4 September at Allan Border Field, with the decider preceded by the free Brisbane Heat Family Day.
