CSA: SA20 Auction to be live to millions around the world

Cricket South Africa (CSA) governs cricket in South Africa. Formed in 2002, it succeeded the United Cricket Board of South Africa (UCB) and became the sole governing body in 2008. CSA oversees all levels of cricket, including national teams for men and women, and is a full ICC member and SASCOC affiliate.

Millions of viewers around the world will have the opportunity to watch the live broadcast of the inaugural SA20 player auction taking place on Monday, September 19th at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. The broadcast will be live on SuperSport, with prominent networks including Viacom18, Sony Entertainment India, and Jio TV distributing the feed to Asia and the rest of the world. The networks have an estimated global viewership base of nearly 1 billion subscribers, taking South Africa’s first cricket player auction to record audiences around the globe.

The auction will be available across a select range of digital platforms including the official SA20 website (www.SA20.co.za) , SA20 YouTube and SA20 Facebook page. It will also be carried on SuperSport, ESPN CricInfo and Cricbuzz websites and the respective franchise Facebook pages.

Vision View Sports Radio will be broadcasting live from the venue with rolling updates of the proceedings throughout the day. The live broadcast will start at 14h00 (SAST) with SuperSport’s informative and behind-the-scenes build-up starting at 13h30.
