The SA20 Auction took place on Monday 19 September 2022, in Cape Town and after an exhilarating auction, North West Cricket is pumped to announce that 5 of the NW Dragons Team Members have been bought by the various franchises to play in the inaugural SA20 to be held in January 2023.
With 80 players sold, to have five from the North West Dragons is a great achievement for our team and squad. The Mumbai Indians Cape Town have scooped up three of the five North West Dragons players. The three players that will turn up and represent in Cape Town are Duan Jansen (R3.3M), Delano Potgieter (R175K) and Wesley Marshall (R175K).
Caleb Seleka (R175K) will represent magnificently as he joins the Joburg Super Kings for the competition. The highest auctioned player from the NW Dragons, Dwaine Pretorius (R4.1M) will be bringing the fire for the Durban Giants come January 2023.
