KwaZulu-Natal Inland Cricket Union are happy to announce Pietermaritzburg-based firm AET Security as the new sponsors of the Tuskers and the Pietermaritzburg Oval. KZN Inland and the company signed a two-year agreement that will see the Tuskers team being called AET Tuskers and the stadium being called AET Pietermaritzburg Oval.

KZN Inland Chief Executive Officer Jason Sathiaseelan said they are delighted with this fantastic injection in the Tuskers and the stadium. “We wish to thank AET Security for their partnership with the Tuskers and the stadium. It is so nice to have local businesses get involved in the team,” Sathiaseelan said.

“This sponsorship will ensure an upgrade of the stadium. Apart from the cash injection, AET have committed to assist with the maintenance of the facility. This has been a concern with lack of funding, but this partnership will bring the stadium to life again.”

“In terms of the AET Tuskers, our partners have also agreed to sponsor a cash man of the match incentive for every game played by the AET Tuskers. AET Security have also committed to contributing to the new Tuskers Foundation for the one-day competition where a cash contribution will be made for every boundary and six hit by a Tuskers player.”

“We at AET Security, hope to inspire our community and bring back the memories in which we as children have made at the The Oval in our youth. We encourage the next generation to enjoy the sporting culture of our home town,” said AET director Mr Talha Sujee.

KZN Inland President Shaun van der Byl said, “we are very grateful for this partnership with AET Security and look forward to a fruitful relationship. We thank AET for their contribution to KZN Inland”.
