Bio

Ryan Campbell is a cricket coach and former Australian and Hong Kong International Cricket Player. His T20I debut came at the age of 44 in 2016, for Hong Kong in World Twenty20, 14 years after his last ODI appearance for Australia in 2002.

Campbell, an explosive batter and wicketkeeper, made only five international appearances. However, he played over 200 First Class and List A matches and finished his career in ninth place on the Pura Cup-Sheffield Shield list of Western Australian run-scorers with 5421 runs and was fourth on the wicket keeping dismissals table with 242.

As a coach, Campbell most notably served as head coach of the Netherlands Men’s Cricket team for over 5 years from April 2017 to September 2022 during which Netherlands achieved an all-time high 11th rank in ICC ODI rankings. After officially stepping down from the world, Campbell agreed to stay with the Dutch National team through the T20 World Cup 2022, serving as an assistant to the head coach, Ryan Cook.

Campbell is the head coach of Durham Cricket in the ECB County Championship, having been appointed in Dec 2022 on a three year deal. He is also currently working on his own as a high performance coach. He previously coached different franchises in T20 Cricket while also working with Hong Kong Cricket Association.

Campbell has been a Brand Ambassador for Nicheliving,in Perth, Australia since 2007. Campbell has a level 3 cricket coaching license from AIS center of Excellence.
