West End Redbacks fast bowler Jordan Buckingham suffered a small fracture in his right hand during their Marsh Sheffield Shield clash against the Warriors on the weekend.
Redbacks Senior Physiotherapist Sam Offord spoke about the incident.
“Jordan hurt his fifth finger on his right hand whilst fielding on day three of our Shield game against WA,” Offord said.
“He was sent for an X-ray which confirmed a small fracture.
“Jordan has returned home as planned following the Shield game and will be reassessed during the week to determine his timeframes for rehab and upcoming team selection.”
The Redbacks next Shield match begins on Sunday, November 20 at Adelaide Oval, against Queensland.
