Bio
Anurag Dahiya is currently the Chief Commercial Officer at the International Cricket Council. He was announced as CCO in January 2020 and started working from March 2020. As a Chief Commercial Officer, he works with the team at ICC to ensure cricket is optimally placed to make better use of the business opportunities presented by a fast changing media and sponsorship landscape.
Prior to joining the ICC, Dahiya served Singtel Asia’s leading telecommunication group for over 6 years. He worked in the capacity of Head of Content & Ad Sales, while also representing mio Tv at Singtel. He was also responsible for conceptualizing and implementing the video content strategy and managing content operations for Singtel’s IPTV and OTT video platforms.
Prior to Singtel, Dahiya spent almost 14 years at ESPN Star Sports – now known as Fox International Channels – in various leadership roles culminating in Senior Vice-President. His responsibilities included working on high profile content acquisition and high-value acquisition of sports rights.
Dahiya launched India’s first International cricket-only channel, ‘STAR Cricket’ and also oversaw the launch of ESPN STAR Sports’ first 24×7 sports news channel ESPNEWS and OTT platform ESPN Play.
Dahiya also served Goodyear India Limited as a Manager in MMD & Traffic department from 1998 to 2000, and he started off his career at Unilever as Area Sales Manager in 1995.
Dahiya became a member of International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, a non-profit, membership organization, based in New York City, in September 2022.
Dahiya holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Punjab Engineering College in Chandigarh.
