Dutch international Brandon Glover has signed a deal linking him to Durham Cricket for two years.
The 25-year-old fast bowler, who until recently played for Northamptonshire, has played eight One Day Internationals so far, taking eight wickets. In addition, he played 24 T20 matches in which he took 37 wickets at an unprecedentedly low wicket average of 14.62.
His most recent performance came against South Africa at the T20 World Cup in November 2022. Johannesburg native Glover then took three wickets for nine runs in two overs: Rossouw, Parnell and Miller. Partly as a result of that performance, the Netherlands recorded a historic victory over South Africa and forced the Orange squad to qualify directly for the next T20 World Cup, which will be held in 2024 in the United States and the West Indies.
