Bio
Brian MacNeice is currently serving as the Chairman of Cricket Ireland, having been appointed in May 2022. He has been associated with Cricket Ireland since 2020, when he was appointed to the Board as an Independent Director. He was also made Vice-Chairman in 2002, working closely with the then Chairman Ross McCollum as part of a transition process before replacing McCollum a year later. MacNiece has been involved in the development of the past three Cricket Ireland Strategic plans.

MacNeice has more than 30 years’ experience in consulting across a range of industries including his current role of the Managing Director at Teneo, a Global CEO Advisory Firm. He has been in this role since Oct 2020, working closely with the CEOs and senior executives of the world’s leading companies and providing strategic counsel across their full range of key objectives and issues.

Previously, MacNeice was Managing Director of Kotinos Partners Limited. He was the founder of the organization, which he served for over a decade. At Kotinos Partners, he provided performance consultancy to high-growth indigenous businesses and multinationals.

MacNeice worked for PNP Genesis as a director from 2004 to Apr 2010, where he focused on the strategy side of the business, working with organizations to drive better performance. He also served Delotte and Arthur Anderson as a director.

MacNeice started off his professional career as a Senior Manager at Vision Consulting for seven years from 1991 to 1998.

Since December 2019, MacNeice has also served as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of Greyhound Racing Ireland.

MacNeice is a former cricketer representing various sides at both underage and senior level. He is a former president of Clontarf Cricket Club.

MacNeice spent 8 years as a National Team Selector for Ireland, including two World Cup campaigns – including 2011 when Ireland beat England in a Group B encounter.

MacNeice is the co-author of the Book, “The Powerhouse: Insider Accounts into the World’s Top High-performance Organizations.” The book was published in 2016 and covers the performance secrets of the world’s most impressive organizations.

MacNeice holds an MBA degree from Dublin City University and also has an International Marketing degree from Chartered Institute of Marketing. He also studied Computer Science at Dublin City University.
