Cricket Australia congratulates Justin Mohamed on his appointment as Australia’s inaugural Ambassador for First Nations People.
Justin has played a significant leadership role in Australian Cricket as Co-Chair of CA’s National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cricket Advisory Committee (NATSICAC) since 2016.
His guidance has been crucial as cricket engages with First Nations cricketers and communities across Australia.
As Ambassador for First Nations People, Justin will lead the Office of First Nations Engagement in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The Office will work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to progress Indigenous rights globally and help grow First Nations trade and investment opportunities.
We are delighted Justin will remain in his role as NATSICAC Co-Chair.
