PURPOSE

Working as part of the England Women’s Cricket Performance Leadership Team this role will play a vital role in ensuring Women’s Cricket in England & Wales is able to thrive through the use of world leading performance analysis processes and utilising key insights to drive player performance and development across the International and Domestic game.

YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Lead the formation and delivery of the EW Performance Analysis and Insight Strategy that engages with all key people within the Women’s Performance Pathway
  • Manage and lead the EW Performance Analyst team to ensure high levels of support are in place to enhance the EW match play and training environments
  • Establish, in collaboration with key stakeholders, a world leading process that utilises high quality data to inform decision making at a strategic and team level
  • Working as part of an Interdisciplinary Leadership Team to improve performance across the Women’s Professional and International Game
  • Work closely with key performance personnel to inform selection for all EW Teams
  • Driving performance through effective and innovative use of data, analytics and modelling skills
  • Ensuring EW utilise the most effective and impactful technologies to drive player management, development and performance
  • Project Managing the ongoing development and roll out of a live athlete management system that shapes individualised programmes
  • Lead the continually evolving WITTW model and ensure it is live and driving the EW team forward
  • Work closely with the National Talent Manager, Head of Performance Pathways and Director, EW Cricket to manage the EW Pathway scouts
  • Work alongside Performance Analysis Lead to develop a culture of sharing and best practise across the whole game
  • Work alongside Performance Analysis Lead to create a practitioner pathway and CPD strategy that aligns to the overarching performance strategies

YOU’LL HAVE

  • Masters/PhD in a relevant subject
  • Ability to lead and direct the development of world leading analytics to enhance the player/coach experience and drive performance.
  • An in depth understanding of contemporary data analysis systems and their utilisation to manage the long term development of players
  • Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Full Driver’s license
