Queensland will host the Australian Men’s and Women’s teams this summer with confirmation of the 2023-24 International Fixture list by Cricket Australia tonight.

The world champion Australian women’s team will play the West Indies at Allan Border Field in two white ball clashes.

Australia will take on the 2016 T20 World Cup Finalists in a T20 International on Thursday 5 October, before playing the first match in a three-game Commbank ODI series on Sunday 8 October.

The Gabba will host its third day/night Test match in its history when Australia clash with the West Indies in January, the first time since 2009 that the two teams have met in a Test at the venue.

The Second NRMA Insurance Test will be held over the January 26 long weekend to wrap-up the international Test summer, with the match scheduled from 25-29 January.

Australia last played a pink ball Test against Sri Lanka five years ago in the same time period in late January, after previously hosting Pakistan in its inaugural day/night Test.

This will be the 13th Test between the two countries at the Gabba, with the West Indies one of the rare teams to have won a Test there in the past 40 years, claiming a victory in 1988.

Notably, the second ever Test between Australia and the West Indies at the Gabba was the famous Tied Test in 1960-61.

Fans can secure early bird ticket prices by joining the Australian Cricket Family pre-sale that commences on 17 May. Cricket Australia is offering ACF members a 15% discount for tickets purchased in the presale on select seating categories. This offer will only apply in the pre-sale before tickets go on sale to the public on 6 June.

Schedules for the KFC BBL|13 and Weber WBBL|09 seasons, plus domestic competitions, will be confirmed in coming months.
