ACB, Super Cola extend long-term commercial partnership

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) is the governing body for cricket in Afghanistan. It joined the ICC in 2001, became an associate member in 2013, and a full member in 2017. The ACB is also part of the Asian Cricket Council.

ACB and Super Cola Beverages Manufacturing Company have agreed to extend their long-term commercial partnership for Afghanistan’s upcoming bilateral series, the ACC Men’s Asia Cup, and Afghanistan’s domestic events in 2023.

The extended agreement ensures that Super Cola will continue to provide financial support and sponsorship for Afghanistan’s domestic and international cricket matches throughout 2023.

As part of this partnership, Super Cola will also sponsor key domestic events in Afghanistan, including the Shpageeza Cricket League, Ahmad Shah Abdali FC, and the GAK Regional List A Tournaments which are scheduled to be conducted during the next few months.

The sponsorship extension event took place yesterday at ACB’s central office and was attended by ACB CEO Mr. Naseeb Khan and Super Cola CEO Mr. Shahab Qanawizian, along with marketing officials from both organizations. Both parties expressed gratitude for the extended partnership and expressed their hopes for a long-term collaboration.

Mr. Naseeb Khan, ACB CEO, expressed his pleasure in extending the agreement. He acknowledged Super Cola as a national entity and thanked them for their continued financial support to the Afghanistan Cricket Board and the National Team. Mr. Khan emphasized ACB’s strong coordination with Super Cola which led to the agreement’s extension.

Mr. Shahab Qanawizian, CEO of Super Cola, also expressed his pleasure in continuing the partnership with the Afghanistan Cricket Board and the National Team. He stated that Super Cola is honored to work closely with ACB and is hopeful for a continued partnership in the future. Mr. Qanawizian also praised the National Team and called them the true representatives of the nation who have brought the nation glory and joy with their consistent success over the years.

To mark the occasion, ACB CEO Mr. Naseeb Khan presented Mr. Shahah Qanawizian with the National Team’s signed jersey as a token of appreciation.
