From 6 to 12 August, the Netherlands will host the World Cup U19 Qualifier for Europe.

The winner of this tournament qualifies for the 2024 ICC U19 World Cup in Sri Lanka. The Netherlands U19 will compete against Guernsey, Italy, Jersey, Norway and Scotland.

A total of sixteen teams will participate in the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup in 2024. Eleven teams have automatically qualified for the event as the top-placed Full Member countries from the previous event in 2022: Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Ireland, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Zimbabwe and South Africa .

The remaining five spots will be determined through regional qualifiers, with one team from each region securing a spot at the event.

The Americas and East Asia Pacific will each host one qualifying event in 2023, with the winner of each event earning a spot at the 2024 U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup.

The regions of Africa, Asia and Europe each have a two-step qualification structure. These regions first hosted Division 2 Qualifiers to determine which teams will be allowed to compete in the second and final qualifying event, the Regional Qualifier. For Europe, Guernsey, Italy and Norway have qualified to face Jersey, the Netherlands and Scotland.

Only the five winning teams from the Regional Qualifiers will qualify for the U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup in 2024. Nepal has already qualified on behalf of the Asia region.

The match days for the Netherlands U19 are 6, 7, 9, 10 and 12 August. The team plays a single round-robin against Italy, Guernsey, Scotland, Jersey and Norway.

The organization is ready to receive the countries. There is a strong Playing Control Team in which Nitin Bathi and Rizwan Akram represent the Netherlands and of course a great team of scorers: Karine Veldhuis, Kate Holdsworth, Arthur Boeren, Lisa Heggelman and Rod Lyall, supplemented by George Burns from Scotland.

For the games, the coaches Pierce Fletcher and Vivian Kingma have selected these men:
